Mr Clyde Mac Donald

Before embarking on a career in education, Clyde practised as an Attorney for five years. He has spent more than twenty years in the education sector, serving in a variety of senior leadership roles, including Senior Housemaster, Deputy Principal and Headmaster. He served as a Headmaster for nine years.

Clyde holds B.Proc, PGCE and B.Ed (Hons) degrees and is an accredited Mediator. He is an Associate Member of the Association of Arbitrators of Southern Africa (NPC) and the KwaZulu-Natal Society of Mediators.

His rare combination of legal training and extensive school leadership experience provides him with a deep understanding of both the legal and educational landscapes. As a result, he is uniquely positioned to support schools in addressing complex disciplinary, governance, safeguarding and employment matters in a manner that is both legally sound and educationally appropriate.

Dr Lisa Dancaster

Dr Lisa Dancaster

Lisa has consulted to Schools in South Africa for over twenty years. She has served on School Boards and as a Commissioner at the CCMA.

She holds a masters in law (cum laude) and doctorate degree from Sydney University, Australia.

Lisa specialises in finding solutions to ‘break the silence’ in the safeguarding space. Her research background assists in ensuring ethical protocols are followed in all her School interventions, particularly fact-finding investigations and safeguarding surveys.
